My friend and Bowne Class Alum of 1994 whom I have known for 22 years Jimmy Ferrie with his wife Jennifer has lost their two year old son Sebastian on March 01, 2015 due to Leukemia. Many of us have never met Sebastian, but we all feel like we knew him. We followed his journey and prayed. Unfortunately, Sebastian lost his battle with Leukemia. No parent should have to bury their child. As friends, we would like to help Jimmy Ferrie and Jennifer Grey as best we can. This fundraiser is to help memorialize Sebastian with a headstone for his final resting place. Please find it in your heart to donate. Every little bit helps and all money will be given to Jimmy and Jennifer for the headstone. If we happen to surpass our goal, all extra monies will be given to Jimmy and Jennifer to help with any other expenses they may have.
Besides giving Sebastian a beautiful headstone to mark his final resting place, we also want to give something back to his parents. Jimmy and Jennifer sacrificed everything to give Sebastian a chance. They left their home and jobs to move closer to Seattle Children's Hospital. They became residents of the Ronald McDonald House for their son. The sacrifices are endless. And this is why we want to do this for them. It's the least we can do to help. The bills and expenses they have been left with are mind blowing. Thank you to all those who have donated. And thank you to all those who are reading this and are going to donate. Our alumni group thanks everyone for their generosity. Let's keep it going!!!
